BORN FROM DARKNESS · CREATOR RIGHTS
YOUR WORK. YOUR RIGHTS.
Mud Brothers Entertainment respects the copyright and creative ownership of every filmmaker, writer, musician, artist, and community member.
Effective November 4, 2026. This policy applies to creative content submitted to Mud Brothers Entertainment's community and film-submission features. It does not replace separate written production, employment, or collaboration agreements.
1. You retain ownership
You retain the copyright and ownership of original films, scripts, photos, artwork, music, videos, and other creative materials you submit. Uploading, linking, or posting content does not transfer copyright to Mud Brothers Entertainment.
2. Limited permission to host and display
When you submit content for publication, you grant Mud Brothers Entertainment a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, technically reproduce, format, and display that content on this website and to use reasonable excerpts, thumbnails, and links to identify and promote the submission on our website and official promotional channels. This license is solely for operating and promoting the creator community and your submitted work; it does not transfer ownership. You may revoke this permission by requesting removal, subject to reasonable processing time, backups, and legal obligations. We will not create unrelated derivative productions from your work under this permission.
3. No sale or separate commercial exploitation
We do not acquire the right to sell your work, license it to third parties for their independent exploitation, or claim to be its author. Any such use requires a separate agreement with the relevant rights holder.
4. Your responsibilities
By submitting, you confirm you own the work or have the necessary rights and permissions to share it, including rights relating to third-party music, footage, images, performers, and other included material. Do not submit material that infringes another person's rights.
5. Review, moderation, and removal
Film submissions are reviewed before being made public. Community stories may appear immediately and can be moderated. We may reject, hide, or remove content that violates site rules or raises credible rights concerns. To request removal of your own work or report suspected infringement, use the studio's contact section and include the content URL, description, your contact information, and details supporting your claim. We will review valid requests in a reasonable timeframe.
6. Our original content
Mud Brothers Entertainment's original branding, logos, films, scripts, and other materials remain owned by Mud Brothers Entertainment or their respective rights holders. Third-party creator submissions are not covered by any general claim of ownership over studio materials.
7. Questions and copyright complaints
Contact us through the studio contact form. For copyright complaints, identify the protected work, the material at issue, where it appears, and how we can contact you. This policy is a creator-facing statement, not a substitute for any legally required copyright notice-and-takedown procedure.
